tdoxStayGold/pcDNA3 (#RDB19611)

Fluorescent protein tdoxStayGold for fusion to the C-terminus of target molecule

Clone info. For fusion of tdoxStayGold to the C-terminus of a target molecule (X). tdoxStayGold is an intramolecular dimeric unit that performs as a monomer, and is composed of n1, oxStayGold, c4, EV linker, n1, and oxStayGold. The gene for the former oxStayGold has been resynthesized with mammalian-preferred codons, and the gene for the latter oxStayGold has the jellyfish original codons. n1 and c4 are the appendages that facilitate fusions to the N- and C-termini of oxStayGold, respectively. X-tdoxStayGold is required to terminate with the original C-terminus of oxStayGold. oxStayGold is a variant of StayGold with two mutations: C174I and C208I; oxStayGold is well expressed also in the cytosolic fraction as StayGold. See Hirano, M. et al., Nat. Biotechnol. 2022 doi: 10.1038/s41587-022-01278-2 for more information.
Comment The accession numbers in the DDBJ/EMBL/GenBank databases are LC601652 for StayGold, LC593679 for h-StayGold and LC601653 for oxStayGold.
