Clone info. Mammalian expression vector encoding an N-terminal variant of MvChR1 (eMvChR1#2) tagged with Venus at the C-terminus under CMV promoter. A97D mutation was introduced.
Comment eMvChR1#2 consists of Met1-Ala37 of channelrhodopsin 2 from Chlamydomonas reinhardtii (CrChR2) and His57-Arg323 of channelrhodopsin 1 from Mesostigma viride (MvChR1). Expression was confirmed by the depositor with whole-cell patch-clamp recording.
