Clone info. Expression vector of mCherry fused Sh-ble is controled under the Perkinsus marinus MOE (PmMOE, putative cell-wall protein) promoter, see Fig. 1 of Sakamoto, H. Parasitol. Int. 65 (5 Pt B): 563-566, 2016.
Comment This clone is for a drug selection system using a bleomycin for transfecting Perkinsus species. Perkinsus is sensitive to bleomycin, and 100 microgram/ml of this drug completely blocks its proliferation. Expression was confirmed by the depositor with fluorescence microscopy and flowcytometry. Refer DDBJ/ENA/GenBank, accession EF632302 for Perkinsus marinus strain CB5D4 putative cell-wall protein (MOE) gene and AAXJ01000000 for Perkinsus marinus genome sequence, respectively. DNA fragments of 1-1,098 and 1,507-2,638 of EF632302.1 are cloned. Known differences: substitutions of G to A at 302nt and A to T at 2,240nt, respectively.
