Clone info. PCR amplified human SSTR2 promoter sequence was inserted into a firefly luciferase vector. Cloned fragment: 73163842 to 73165161(NC_000017.11); relatively -1168 to +152, where +1 corresponds to 1 nt of NM_001050.3.
Comment PCR cloning, forward primer: GGAAACTCCTGATCCCCATC; reverse primer: CTCCTCGACCCTCTTGTGC. Entire sequence of promoter region has not been confirmed. Known differences (at least) : 10nt (GTGTGTGTGT) insertion between 73164123 to 73164124nt, and G to T substitution at 73164991nt on NC_000017.11.
