Clone info. cDNA encoding the FLAG-tagged Rab27A was subcloned into the NotI site of the modified pEF-BOS expression vector (J. Biol. Chem. (1994) 269, 29206-29211). Expression of FLAG-Rab27A promotes dense-core vesicle exocytosis in PC12 cells.
Expression was confirmed by depositor as follows: transfection into COS-7 cells and followed by both immunoblotting and immunocytochemistry. It is localized in secretory granule and melanosomme.
