Clone info. | PCR amplified human Smad7 promoter sequence was inserted into a Renilla luciferase reporter vector pKM2L (RDB04026). This clone has genomic sequence (48,951,746 to 48,955,347nt of NC_000018.10) corresponding -3.3 kb to +270 bp (tanscription start site P1 is designated +1. Fig. 2 of Denissova, N.G. et al. Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. USA 97: 6397-6402, 2000). Note that this clone does not contain any part of cDNA sequence of NM_005904.3, a representative sequence of human SMAD7. Alternatively, 48955347 to 48951747(NC_000018.10); relatively -4636 to -1035, where +1 corresponds to 1 nt of NM_005904.3 was cloned. (reference: Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci.
