• The authenticity of microbial genomic DNAs for the distribution are confirmed by PCR amplification of 16S rRNA gene and nucleotide sequencing of the amplified products. However, these tests do not exclude contamination of any other species. Please be aware that the genomic DNA send from us may not necessarily fit for your specific research purpose.

(1) RECIPIENT of the BIOLOGICAL RESOURCE shall obtain a prior written consent on use of it (Approval Form, Form M-12) from the DEPOSITOR. (2) Those who wish to obtain the Biological Material (Recipient) shall contact the Depositor (Meiji Pharmaceutical University) and obtain prior written consent from the Depositor. In addition, such Recipient shall not file any patent appliciation(s) with regards to any invention(s) made through the use of the Biological Material without obtaining prior written consent from Meiji Pharmaceutical University and RIKEN. This restrictions of application shall apply to any other intellectual property. (3) Notwithstanding the above, in case of any university, national research institute or similar, such Recipient is not required to contact the Depositor only if such Recipient will use the Biological Material for not-for profit research. However, even in case of not-for-profit research, such Recipient may not file any patent application(s) with regards to any invention(s) made through the use of the Biological Material without obtaining prior written consent from the Meiji Pharmaceutical University and RIKEN. This restriction of application shall apply to any other intellectual property.
